Ishaan Shah is the Global Lead Next Generation Fellow at the United Nations Foundation, where he supports efforts to rebuild trust in multilateralism and strengthen intergovernmental processes across the UN system. He is also the founder of Stolen Dreams UK. His work spans normative standards, intergovernmental negotiations, systems thinking, and policy processes across the UN architecture, with a focus on the General Assembly, ECOSOC, Security Council reform, the selection of the next UN Secretary-General, and the UN80 initiative. He also serves as Lead for Intergovernmental Support and Pact for the Future Follow-Up and Implementation at the Coalition for the UN We Need, and is a member of the Global Commission on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.

Previously, Ishaan worked with the UN Foundation as a researcher and consultant and served as the UK Youth Delegate to the 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women. He holds a BA in International Relations from King’s College London
