Throughout May and June the Next Generation Fellows, supported by alumni of the Future Leaders Connect programme, will be hosting a series of national conversations as part of their ongoing consultation with young people around the world.
These conversations are the next step in a process designed to respond to the United Nations’ Secretary-General’s call for young people to share their solutions to the challenges of the 21st Century.
The events will be held in Canada, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Tunisia.
Participants will discuss a range of questions including:
- How can we make sure young people leave school with fundamental skills?
- How can we deal with the youth unemployment crisis?
- How can we encourage more young people to participate in politics?
- How can we work with young people to protect our planet?
- How do we make sure the voices of young people are heard?
