Claudette is a Mexican researcher and lawyer dedicated to advancing intergenerational justice on a global scale. She recently graduated with honors from ITAM Law School and currently serves as one of the nine United Nations Foundation’s Next Generation Fellows, co-leading the Task Force on Future Generations. She also works as a Governance Affiliate in Riesgos Catástroficos Globales, where she applies her expertise in research and public policy to tackle pressing global issues and foster institutional resilience in low and middle-income countries.
Recognized as a Future Generations Global Ambassador by the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, Claudette actively advises UN projects from the Global South, fostering diverse perspectives in shaping a sustainable future. Before her work in long-term governance, she collaborated with civil society organizations in Mexico, accompanied victims of serious human rights violations, and participated in strategic lawsuits against corruption cases.
