This final Engine Room Pitstop for 2023 is an opportunity to amplify the voices of young leaders in the run-up to COP 28 and the Summit of the Future in 2024, setting the stage for a new era of intergenerational collaboration and youth leadership in global cooperation, and will also give young leaders a preview of how to extend their impact into 2024 and beyond!
Making Waves
With only 15% of the SDGs on track, climate disasters sweeping the world, two out of three young people living in countries highly susceptible to ecological damage within their lifetime, and the United Nations Secretary-General stating that global warming has been superseded by the ‘era of global boiling’, the need for bold, innovative and unified action has never been greater.
This virtual event is a chance to hear the perspectives and ideas of influential policymakers, and young champions as they take the world stage at the COP 28 to tackle these issues. By joining us you’ll become part of a collective movement to highlight the importance of youth leadership and innovation, and pave the way for sustained progress towards the SDGs and the Summit of the Future.
