Xinying (Heidi) Sui is a 16-year-old founder and app developer fascinated by the interplay between business, international relations, and tech. She serves in the UN Refugee Agency as an appointed member of its Youth Focus Group, which cultivates her passion for volunteerism - especially in terms of aiding Ukrainian refugees locally in Poland. In addition to volunteering, Heidi is a prolific debater who enjoys finessing her skills of drafting policy papers and lobbying for consensus through the Model United Nations (MUN) program, where her work has received awards on several occasions including being named the Best Delegate by Yale Model Government Europe, and Outstanding Delegate at the Oxford Global MUN conference respectively. Her mobile app project, United Youth - a networking tool for youth projects, clubs, and organizations worldwide to connect with one another, was recently declared as a winner of the Young Changemakers Challenge, an initiative funded by the European Parliament.
